Job Description

Dunder Mifflin Paper Company, a leader in the paper supply industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain processes to meet customer demand and boost company efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify and recommend improvements.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory management and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
• Use statistical analysis to solve complex operational problems.
• Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data.
• Monitor data and system rules to ensure data integrity, data management, and data cleanup activities.
• Develop and prepare regular reports for management, suggesting improvements in the supply chain and helping to make decisions on possible strategies.
• Support the VP of Operations in benchmarking activities and analyze results to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

Education

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in a supply chain role.
• Proven experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting.
• Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g., inventory planning, warehouse management).
• Experience using supply chain management software (e.g., SAP MM, AP Modules, SAP Plant Maintenance, etc.).
• Knowledge of project management methodologies.

Skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• High level of organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
