About the Role

As our Public Relations Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our Marketing team, reporting to the Regional Manager, Jim Halpert. You'll take charge of crafting and implementing effective PR strategies, managing relationships with media partners, preparing press releases, and enhancing our public image. Your role is pivotal in shaping the narrative around our brand and maintaining our high standing in the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop PR campaigns and media relations strategies to enhance brand consistency and communication.
• Collaborate with internal teams and maintain open communication with senior management.
• Edit and update promotional materials and publications (brochures, videos, social media posts etc.).
• Track media coverage and follow industry trends.
• Prepare and submit PR reports.
• Manage PR issues and crisis situations.
• Organize PR events (e.g. open days, press conferences) and serve as the company's spokesperson.
• Seek opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising.
• Address inquiries from the media and other parties.
• Track PR metrics (e.g. web analytics, KPIs).

Qualifications

Specific qualifications are required for this role. An ideal candidate should have a degree in PR, Marketing, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical, along with the ability to handle stressful situations and tight deadlines. Prior experience in a similar role is highly preferable. You should also demonstrate creativity, initiative, and good judgement in developing marketing and PR strategies.
