About the Role

As the Head of IT, you will play a pivotal role in our company by overseeing the IT department, developing strategy and budget for IT, implementing technological resources, managing network security, and leading the IT team. Reporting to David Wallace, your leadership and innovative ideas will guide our technological growth and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a customer service platform to serve the organization in every aspect.
• Design, develop, and implement IT budgets and strategic planning to match the needs of the company.
• Manage the organization’s network systems and ensure they are functioning correctly and are up to date.
• Ensure the company's data remains secure by keeping up to date with the latest cybersecurity news and threats.
• Oversee all technology operations and evaluate them according to established goals.
• Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management.
• Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
• Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software.
• Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management.
• Control budget and report on expenditure.
• Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts.

Qualifications

This role requires specific qualifications. An ideal candidate should have a degree in IT or a related field, a solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations, superior leadership and decision-making skills. Previous experience in a managerial role is mandatory. We are looking for a candidate who can leverage technology to enhance our business operations and ensure our IT infrastructure runs smoothly and securely.
