Summary 

The Vice President of Sales and Marketing as a member of the senior leadership team, will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and management for The Care Team’s Home Health marketing functions.  Specifically, the VP of sales is responsible for driving patient volume and achieving growth targets in each market.  This position will execute an ambitious but achievable plan that includes building upon our existing programs, developing new programs, and expanding into new markets.

KEY job RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop, lead and coordinate the sales and marketing functions.
  • Provide support and resources required to increase referrals and sources
  • Understand current marketplace and develop competitive analysis and strategic plan in each of our geographic areas
  • Develop sales plans for the Home Health business line to achieve optimal census and meet or exceed projections in the most cost-effective manner
  • Oversee the development and implementation of an integrated strategic sales and marketing plan to advance TCT’s brand identity, broaden awareness of its programs and priorities and increase the visibility of its programs across key stakeholder audiences
  • Lead strategic engagement and relationship management with high level area influencers to drive qualified leads/sales in all TCT markets
  • Define and oversee sales incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve targets
  • Responsible for establishing plan for creating provider partnerships to position TCT as an industry leader within each of the TCT markets served.
  • Provide leadership in all TCT website rebuild and optimization activities
  • Prepare and monitor annual sales and marketing departmental operating and capital budgets
  • Track, analyze and report referral activity by referral source and identify top priority targets. Report progress on these top accounts to the TCT Executive and Leadership team. 
  • Analyze details of sales territories to assess their growth potential and to set quotas.
  • Ensure marketing and communications efforts resonate with our target audiences at all TCT serviced facilities
  • Serve as primary contact for internal associates and customers regarding projects and issues related to marketing and communications initiatives
  • Manage marketing and communications team by establishing and monitoring staff performance and development goals
  • Consult with internal associates and customers to understand communication and marketing needs, as well as objectives
  • Attend company meetings to exchange information and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Oversee development of all TCT print communications
  • Provide leadership to TCT to build a highly engaged social media program across Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and relevant social media channels
  • Ensure consistency of the branding, marketing, and communications messaging across mediums including printed, electronic, and online collateral materials
  • Lead the process, along with assistance from the Regional Directors of Sales, in the production of printed promotional materials including brochures, collateral materials, newsletters and invitations to events
  • Assist with client communication and problem resolution. Represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
  • Oversee all corporate marketing departmental purchasing procedures and programs to ensure all invoices are properly coded and paid in a timely manner
  • Promote a positive and innovative culture and mentors’ staff.
  • Monitor sales staff performance to ensure that goals are met.
  • Establishes a managerial climate that encourages teamwork and promotes collaboration among all team members.
  • Work with the VP of Human Resources, on the recruitment and hiring of sales and marketing team members
  • Other duties as assigned
