VP, People Analytics & Insights- Workforce Planning Foundations


Overview


The VP, People Analytics & Insights-Workforce Planning Foundations, is a newly created role within the Global People Analytics & Insights team which operates across multiple Regions & time zones. This role will be reporting directly to the SVP, Global People Analytics & Insights Lead.


This individual will bring experience in consulting, the HR functional domain, and program management to drive highly visible global people initiatives that establish the foundation for workforce planning at Mastercard. Competitive candidates will be detail-oriented, execution-focused, and accomplished at driving quantifiable results within a global and matrixed organization.


Role


  • Owns implementation of Mastercard’s strategy for workforce planning foundations, developing the strategy, roadmap, and driving execution.
  • Creates and implements workflows for internal position management strategy and operational delivery.
  • Oversees approval process for new and replacement headcount requests to ensure consistency of approach across regions and business units.
  • Partners with finance to establish and improve forecasting and actuals tracking mechanisms to monitor and control workforce costs.
  • Creates real-time forecasting models and tools that provide accurate and up-to-date insights to create transparency and enable proactive decision-making.
  • Builds technology strategy to support the foundation of workforce planning at Mastercard.
  • Leads project teams from cross-functional areas to build the right processes, tools, and change management for workforce planning.
  • Stays informed of best-in-class capabilities and emerging trends in operational planning and adopts relevant practices to Mastercard to enhance planning foundations.


All About You


  • Advanced level of experience in Workforce Planning and forecasting on a global, enterprise-wide scale.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and lead a project team without hierarchical authority.
  • Proficient in change management practices including developing and executing integrated change management plans.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally across technical and non-technical project teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively balance the needs of multiple stakeholders while upholding program vision, strategy, and goals.
