VP, People Analytics & Insights- Data Foundations


Overview


The VP, People Analytics & Insights- Data Foundations is a newly created role within the Global People Analytics & Insights team which operates across multiple Regions & time zones. This role will be reporting directly into the SVP, Global People Analytics & Insights Lead.


This individual will bring experience in Consulting, the HR functional domain, and Program management to drive highly visible global People initiatives that help Mastercard make data-driven decisions about their talent. Competitive candidates will be detail-oriented, execution-focused, and accomplished at driving quantifiable results within a global and matrixed organization.


Role


Create and implement a multi-year data strategy roadmap for the People Analytics & Insights function


Ensures governance of data standards, including consistency of how metrics are defined and evaluated


Upholds consistency of data quality across various internal systems and reports


Responsible for managing the reporting infrastructure and ensuring right level of adoption for Tableau reports


Partners closely with business leaders to provide strategic decision support through data and analytics


Sees beyond requestors’ asks to understand the root query or challenge for which data and analytics are being sought


Applies knowledge in quantitative and qualitative analysis as well as data visualization to surface clear and compelling narratives that inform the strategies of the Business Unit


Influences the development of actionable KPIs that drive business decisions and inform executive management and other key constituents


Provides thought leadership to convert inputs from stakeholder teams into creative, scalable solutions


Defines, validates, and enforces HR data integrity in collaboration with HR systems teams


Collaborates with data engineering and visualization resources to access and manipulate data, explain data requirements, and surface findings via cutting-edge visualizations and dashboards


Provides program management support for Solutioning and Automation activities, including project prioritization through partnership across the People Analytics Leadership team


Demonstrates exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data


All About You


Advanced level of experience in an Analytics function with the ability to translate business needs and priorities into a deliverable data strategy


Proven experience in leading teams and measuring performance against tangible outcomes and goals


Strong ability to work cross functionally across technical and non-technical project teams


Customer-centric mindset with a seasoned ability to confidently communicate with all levels of leadership.


Proficient in presenting and consulting to internal groups with varying audience sizes and leadership levels.
