All About You
Under general direction, the Talent Acquisition Consultant - Recruiter oversees the full life-cycle recruitment activities for Saint Louis University. This person will report directly to Manager, Talent Acquisition and will serve as a key member of the Saint Louis University Talent Acquisition team. The ideal candidate will draw upon extensive knowledge of talent acquisition best practices and forge dynamic relationships with academic leaders, hiring managers and HR partners. This role will be based out of our St. Louis, MO office.
Objectives of this role:
Work closely with hiring managers and university stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of the hiring needs for each position; and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations.
Ability to advise on the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles to find, hire, and retain quality talent.
Participate and lead talent intake strategy meetings with hiring managers.
Continuously partner with hiring leaders to design, refine, and implement innovative recruiting strategies.
Stay active with current with job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcements.
Advise on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion talent sourcing options.
Provide red carpet, high touch point candidate experience throughout the interview, selection and onboarding processes.
Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with internal management teams to know the ins and outs of their departments, strategic goals, and have a strong understand of their hiring needs and job specifications
Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative recruiting strategies to find quality candidates
Maintain a database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, hired and termed employees, and other candidate relationships,
Assist hiring managers with adhering to EEO/OFCCP compliance.
Act with a sense of urgency as a talent advisor to offer creative solutions that will assist Saint Louis University Hiring Managers and Business Managers.
Source open positions through various means, including: cold-calling, social media, daily searches on recruiting management system, advertising, searching on-line resume databases, Internet postings, networking with professional and community organizations, advertisements and referrals.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an area of specialty with 5+ years of recruiting experience.
2+ years of experience in proactive sourcing methods to generate diverse slates of candidates.
Knowledge of current sourcing market trends.
Workday experience preferred; or have familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills and decision-making skills; acts with a sense of urgency.
Strong organizational skills. Proven experience is managing large scale multidisciplinary recruiting projects.
Ability to quickly assess complex information and offer solutions.
