Overview


We are a globally located team supporting several technologies used by Mastercard workforce. Technologies supported by this team are hosted in various cloud provider platform like GCP, AWS and Azure. We also support few applications hosted on-premises developed in Java & Angular JS. As a software quality assurance engineer, you will develop test scripts and test automation to ensure delivery of applications operating at-scale, requiring focus on performance, security, and reliability.


Role


  • Be a leading contributor to the team to plan, design and develop testing strategy for various HR applications like Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Benefits etc.
  • Create and execute test plans and cases that team uses to verify that working software matches acceptance criteria for user stories.
  • Build automated tests using modern client and server-side frameworks & tools.


Deliver software with exceptional quality and security that operates at scale.


  • Perform & participate in code reviews, retrospectives, and review Pull Requests using Git.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, test engineers and product owners.
  • Coordinate with DevOps engineers on the use and automation of the build pipeline.
  • Track quality metrics and focus on continuous improvement practices.
  • Ensure that systems you test comply with Mastercard best practices and governance models including security, operations, and Enterprise Architecture requirements.


All About You


  • You have a solid foundation in Computer Science fundamentals, web applications, and familiarity with SaaS, REST, and microservices-based software architecture.
  • You have demonstrated experience working in a cross-functional, Agile software development practice.
  • You have experience in System and Integration testing. (Must)
  • You have experience testing across a variety of platforms: web and mobile user interface, APIs (REST and SOAP), micro services, cloud native. (Must)
  • You have deep experience with automated testing and tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Insomnia, Pact, WireMock, and REST-assured.
  • You have experience successfully releasing software in a continuous delivery model using Git.


You enjoy working in an Agile team focused on continuous improvement.


  • You have a strong desire to deepen your knowledge, collaborate within a team, and mentor junior test engineers.
  • You are passionate about the art of delivering the highest quality software to customers and doing the right thing.
  • You have excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical people.

O'Fallon, Missouri: $88,000 - $137,000 USD
