Position Purpose Oversee research programs that inform the business in assuring our customer experience is superior, our messages are differentiated and connect with prospects, help to determine new plan benefits, modes of care delivery and other strategic impacts. Identify research needs and research program road map, development of research studies, analysis and recommendations, reporting, research vendor selection and performance. Gather insights and deliver actionable analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.


Lead and manage all primary (qualitative and quantitative) research and secondary projects to efficiently deliver creative, customer and market-based insights from inception and into maturity.


Synthesize data from multiple sources and develop realistic, insightful, and actionable recommendations, and present the data/recommendations.


Deliver research findings, derive actionable insights, and make strategic recommendations that maximize the long-term value of the brand and present findings and recommendations to leaders.


Evaluate, select, and manage vendors to ensure the execution success of primary research projects.


Work closely with internal cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Marketing, Population Health/Medical Operations, Customer Experience and present insights to key internal business teams and work streams. Plan, execute, and interpret primary market research and secondary data analyses.


Design research plans and programs that ensure the resources (dollars and people) are best leveraged to meet the true business needs.


Proactively communicate with multi-functional teams to anticipate future needs and provide teams with strategic recommendations and insights; and identify information and data needs


Draw on and continue to develop significant methodological expertise in qualitative and quantitative analysis for market research applications


Education/Experience Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Marketing, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in market research, including design and analysis of primary market research and secondary data analysis. Experience with statistical software to aid in quantitative analytical techniques.
