Title And Summary


Senior Analyst, Settlement Operations


Provide the necessary day-to-day operational support for settlement and reconciliation activities, including the timely and accurate processing of receivables and payables, as well as the accurate recording and reconciliation of transactions in financial systems. You will work in a team environment and have the opportunity to cross train on a variety of operational processes to ensure that the team is fully operational through team absences.


Role


  • Execution of daily/weekly/monthly treasury, settlement, and reconciliation for activities such as, but not limited too, Mastercard Europe and Mastercard Send.
  • Active participation in cross training and business continuity process requirements for all required activities.
  • Assist with the successful onboarding of new customers and processes into the team
  • Ensure processes are executed within internal and external standards.
  • Assist with the implementation of process improvements to increase operational efficiencies
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Act as point of escalation for internal and external settlement and reconciliation queries.


All About You


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Management Information Systems desirable or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite. Strong Excel and Access database skills required.
  • Demonstrates good knowledge of settlement and reconciliation principles.
  • Ability to perform daily processes accurately within given timelines.
  • Experience responding to routine inquiries in a complete and timely manner.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in English
  • Strong team player skills.
  • Willing to learn and work in a flexible fast paced environment.
  • Appreciation of basic accounting principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Solid analytical skills
