Overview


Leveraging Mastercard’s global payments network, our account-to-account business provides domestic and cross-border solutions to enable the frictionless future of payments. We help our customers leverage rich messaging functionality and applications to capture business and consumer payment flows both domestically and cross-border; offer solutions to connect, enable, and safeguard the Open Banking ecosystem, and protect banks and their customers from financial crime. All this is supported by account-based data insights and consulting to help our clients optimize their payment strategies across the world. The Open Banking team is looking to expand its product offering on a global basis.

The FCRA Manager is a compliance champion with deep experience with building and supporting compliance management programs and a background in payments and financial technology. The candidate is proficient in data analysis and has an understand of Open Banking products and services.


About The Role


― Partner with the business to implement enhancements to internal systems, processes and procedures adherent to regulatory obligations for open banking products focused on payment services, financial data aggregation, and alternative consumer report data.


― Partner with Legal and Regulatory to ensure processes and procedures comply with regulatory requirements, specifically those related to Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and considering others such as UDAAP, GLBA, FFIEC standards, and industry best practices.


― Conduct risk assessments and identify acceptable levels of risk; work with stakeholders to design, document and implement controls, establish risk mitigation plans, develop key risk and performance indicators.


― Support new product development, compliance focused system and product enhancements and the implementation of key controls.


― Drive collaboration across the business, including product teams, engineering, legal and other key stakeholders.


― Oversee consumer disputes and complaints operations. Ensure prompt and adequate responses and present periodic analysis and reports and support driving enhancements based on consumer feedback.


― Identify and implement analytical tools and metrics to assess and measure risks.


― Analyze data sets and test technical development cycles to ensure that existing functionalities haven't been adversely affected.


― Preparing and presenting materials to senior leaderships for FCRA Executive Council Meeting.


― Support audit and examination responses.


Experience


― Strong knowledge of U.S. consumer protection, privacy, and data security regulations (e.g., FCRA, UDAAP, GLBA) standards, and industry best practices.


― Experience building compliance management systems, including performing compliance risk assessments, and performing compliance reviews.


― Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms while driving process optimization and business transformation.


― Working knowledge of data preparation, data mining, predictive modeling, machine learning, statistical analysis and experience with algorithms and coding.


― High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.


― Creative thinker able to support innovation while still managing risk and managing conflicting projects and priorities.


― Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide solution recommendations.


― Strong analytic capabilities and written and oral communication skills.

― CRCM certification preferred
