Our Purpose
- Identify opportunities to grow one to many initiatives in LAC, by proactively identifying market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
- Proactively engage in discovering new areas of opportunities with internal and external customers to advise on ideal solutions utilizing a diverse suite of product features
- Engage in effective working relationships with internal and external clients, strategically managing these relationships
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, services, finance, product management, and other critical internal Mastercard stakeholders, to develop and implement network sales initiatives
- Formulate, articulate, and prioritize project activities, ensuring clarity and alignment
- Lead, under guidance, both formal and informal pitches, from storyboarding to face-to-face presentations, delivering concise and persuasive materials tailored to the specific needs and level of the audience
- Effectively manage a pipeline of proposals from early lead stages through to signature
- Consistently meet and exceed targets, driving the success of our business
- Analyze information, extract insights, and develop conclusions and recommendations for your accounts/products
- Overseeing the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of the implementation/execution of the products/sales under management
- Additional tasks as required
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration (BBA), Commerce (B.Com), Economics, Finance, Marketing, Management or related field. An MBA or relevant post-graduate degree is preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in place of degree
- Proven track record of success in sales, network sales, or revenue generating initiatives, preferably in the financial services or payments industry
- Strong understanding of the Latin America and Caribbean market dynamics, including knowledge of local regulations, industry players, and customer needs
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze complex business situations, develop actionable plans, and drive results
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
- Exceptional relationship management skills, fostering long-term partnerships with clients
- Project Management experienced
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Portuguese is a plus
- Willingness to travel within the region as required
- Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices;
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed;
- Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and
- Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
