Manager, Corporate Treasury


Overview


The Corporate Treasury team performs all global treasury activities for Mastercard, including capital planning analysis, rating agency relationships, foreign exchange risk management and trading, cash management/positioning, pensions asset-liability management, capital markets transactions (debt issuances, equity share buy-back), credit facility management and intercompany funding.


The Role


The manager (individual contributor) will start in the capital planning and analysis (CP&A) team. This team is responsible for developing Mastercard’s capital structure strategy, executing debt and equity capital markets transactions, managing Mastercard’s $8B credit facility, managing rating agency relationships, and supporting regulatory compliance and integration of newly acquired companies.


Core Responsibilities Include


This is a high impact role leading Treasury’s involvement in the M&A process, managing critical regulatory work, and supporting the CP&A team.


  • Coordinating the M&A due diligence process across Treasury
  • Leading cross-functional M&A integration efforts, working with SMEs in areas including Capital Markets, FX, Treasury Operations, Settlement, and Risk Management
  • Coordinating with the Regulatory organization to ensure compliance
  • Preparing regulatory plans (e.g., capital plans, wind-down plans)
  • Supporting regulatory initiatives and ongoing dialogue with regulators worldwide
  • Supporting execution of capital market transactions, including bond offerings and share repurchases
  • Supporting financial reporting and public disclosures (e.g. SEC reports and disclosures)


There is potential for successful candidates to transition into other areas of interest within Corporate Treasury.


About You


  • Proven ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong project management skills including superior organization, planning, and follow through. Candidates will manage both projects and monthly / quarterly responsibilities
  • Able to foster a positive team environment and collaborate to produce outstanding results
  • Robust understanding of core corporate finance and capital markets concepts
  • Advanced degree or MBA preferred. Prior treasury or capital markets experience preferred

Westchester County Salary Range: $126,000 - $197,000
