Overview


The Operations, Network and Employee Digital Experience (ONE) team is looking for a Lead Systems Platform Engineer, to join a team focused on Mastercard partnerships and integrations with industry leading technology organizations, as well as potential acquisition entities. The ideal candidate will act as an Integration Design Engineer, be passionate about new and emerging technologies, be highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset. Experience in integrating Corporate and Data Center Networks will be critical to the success of this role. Can


Responsibilities of this role to include, but not be limited to:


  • Finding resilient and reliable solutions to integration challenges with vendors and /or acquired entities, that meet Mastercard's high security and quality standards
  • Resolves chronic complex problems, providing managerial operational support to maintain systems and platforms
  • Setting priorities, objectives, and driving deliverables within global technology domains and sub-domains
  • Engaging with the broader technical community to anticipate developments in innovation, often evaluating new solutions and recommending future business platform system requirements
  • Participating in continuous process improvement initiatives for operational and financial value by leveraging tools and technologies
  • Coordinates the building and maintaining of system and platform technologies and environments
  • Performs project management activities and keeps project tracking/plans up to date
  • Participates in the planning and implementation of system/platform updates to optimize performance, efficiency, and capacity
  • Performs holistic platform reviews that includes identifying risks, escalating potential concerns, and implementing both risk mitigation plans and control functions
  • Completes status reports, creates process/procedure documentation, and provides in-depth technical assistance to development programmers and customers
  • May perform financial planning, forecasting, and budget tracking to reduce total cost of ownership and allocate resources efficiently


Candidates With The Following Skills Are Preferred


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills across disparate technology vendors and business units
  • Experience presenting across a diverse audience
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Possess a background working in or knowledge of Cloud environments

O'Fallon, Missouri: $110,000 - $171,000 USD
