Position Purpose Identifies quality performance trends, develops key strategic improvement programs and initiatives, and ensures those programs and initiatives are implemented to impact quality rating system performance.


  • Identifies trends within quality data utilizing product scorecards, provider scorecards, and enterprise dashboards to strategically develop programs and initiatives in response to those trends to drive improvement. Programs and initiatives are quality driven but could impact departments across the enterprise.
  • Assists stakeholders to determine the root cause of their business issues and recommend solutions to resolve.
  • Ensures implementation of strategic programs and initiatives alongside key stakeholders to drive improvement in quality rating systems and business value.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Education/Experience


Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in healthcare quality, including STARS, QRS, and HPRS


License/Certification


Lean Six Sigma or CPHQ preferred


This position is fully remote - candidates can reside anywhere within the United States.


Preferred Experience


  • BA/BS degree and 4+ years of experience, preferably in public health, social/human services, social work, public policy, health care, education, community development, or justice; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Master’s Degree in Public Health, Business or related field
  • 1-2 years’ experience in health equity field
  • 2-3 years managed care and/or healthcare experience
  • Experience working with medication use quality and quality measures

  • Demonstrates ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Demonstrates skills in multi-tasking and prioritizing information and projects in a fast pace environment; can adapt quickly to change
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills required
