DUTIES

Design, document, build, test and maintain scalable solutions to ensure completeness and quality of data flowing into enterprise data setting.
Design, build, test and maintain scalable and stable off the shelf application or custom-built technology solutions to meet business needs.
Act as a subject matter expert for Application Software Developers and Engineers.
Contribute to the entire software implementation process, including driving the definition of improvements based on business need and architectural improvements.
Meet with business partners to understand technical business needs with regard to driving increased quality, transparency, and trust in data across the enterprise.
Responsible for overall design of data quality solutions.
Analyze business and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems.
Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
Troubleshoot application and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning, as well as expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflow.
Telecommuting permitted Position reports to Centene headquarters at 7700 Forsyth Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63105 and various unanticipated worksites through the U.S.
Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience. In the alternative, Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience.

In addition, experience with the following skills is required (1) Developing processes to extract data from heterogeneous sources, applying transformation logic to extracted data, and comparing the data to similar or different data targets; (2) Using SQL, Python, SQL Server, and Mongo to develop stored procedures & functions to support the data quality dashboards and comparison processes required to identify data anomalies; (3) Using understanding of Kubernetes and container processing required for automation and CICD standards; and (4) Designing and developing process components in an agile environment utilizing a test-driven development approach.

WORK HOURS Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week [800 am to 500 pm]
