All About You

JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision, manages and executes the gift processing activities related to Athletics; works closely with Athletics to coordinate the Development and Athletics databases; attends Development and Athletic events that involve the collection of gifts to process gifts properly; assists with GiveSmart software and the Clover devices; works on data projects as possible; conducts verbal and written communications with internal and external constituents.

JOB DUTIES

  • Works closely with Athletics to manage all aspects of athletics gift processing.  Ensures all athletic gifts are processed accurately and timely in both the CRM and Archtics.  Ensures compliance with IRS regulations, university policies, CASE standards and donor intent.  Builds on the collaborative relationship between Athletics and Development.
  • Attends local events that require gift acceptance to ensure accurate record keeping and timely processing of gifts.
  • Works with GiveSmart to identify, track, and follow up on all auction activities.  Gets all necessary gifts processed and helps the Director of Gift Processing with any reconciliation issues related to GiveSmart.
  • Manages the division’s Clover devices.  Keeps track of them, maintains inventory in Clover register, follows up on Clover related questions to staff members who borrowed the Clovers.  Ensures Clover transactions are processed. Provides instruction for users.
  • Completes data projects as time allows.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Experience with Constituent Relationship Management tools

Knowledge of development/fundraising concepts

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Data entry skills

Ability to attend local events, some outside standard working hours

Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and strong Microsoft Excel skills

Verbal and written communication skills

Attentiveness to detail and accuracy

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree; supplemented with one-three (1-3) years of related work experience.
