All About You
Under general direction, coordinates department financial management; maintains and analyzes budgets; assists with human resource functions; tracks and assists with the coordination of major contract services and various accounts; reconciles accounts; prepares financial reports and requisitions; reviews department fee schedules.Maintains departmental budgets for designated and auxiliary accounts; forecasts revenue and expenditures; provides projections of expenditures; prepares ad hoc budget reports and financial reports; evaluates financial performance of the department or divisions; reviews report data and monitors expenses; processes budget reallocations and revisions.
Essential Job Responsibilites:
Maintains department financial records and budgets; assists with expenditure forecasts; prepares ad hoc financial reports; reconciles funds and monitors expenses; assists with evaluation of departmental financial performance.
Responsible for departmental accounts payable functions; processes requisitions, invoices and other forms of financial payments; reconciles funds for deposits/receipts; ensures accuracy of purchases and expenditures; ensures policy and procedure compliance;
Arranges travel plans for schools employees and guests including transportation and lodging; ensures policy and procedure compliance; processes expense reports for all school employees; monitors travel expenses
Assists with human resources functions; performs timekeeping function; ensures policy and procedure compliance; supervises student worker staff; maintains records of staff and student worker schedules
Reviews operational processes to increase efficiency; performs contract compliance and tracking; assists with the development of the budget; participates in facilities planning.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Minimum qualifications: Four-year college education with 1-3 years experience
Remote/In-person Expectations:
This position will require the individual to work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely one or two days per week upon completion of initial onsite training and familiarizing with department work and operations in compliance with the requirements of the SLU Remote Staff Flexible Work Policy.
