JOB SUMMARY
This role will include driving the mobile clinic van to locations within the Greater St. Louis area. Responsibilities will also include coordination and ensuring that all maintenance is completed for the mobile clinic van and support the mobile clinic program by serving as van operations specialist and overseeing safe, daily, operation of the mobile clinic van.
JOB DUTIES
Operate and drive the mobile clinic to and from designated locations ensuring safe transport and efficient use of the mobile clinic.
Load supplies and medical equipment into the van prior to each trip
Set up and break down at each mobile clinic location
Perform basic vehicle maintenance and coordinate repair services on mobile clinic van and other agency vehicles and maintain excellent vehicle preventative maintenance by ensuring the completion of daily checks and maintenance logs.
Ensure vehicle cleanliness before and after each use.
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with staff, volunteers, physicians, public and other resource personnel
Automotive maintenance knowledge and mechanical aptitude
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, travel regularly and to act on an “on-call” basis as determined by the respective Manager in relation to service requirements
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
Intermediate ability and knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, email, and internet
Ability to work as an integral member of a team and work with little or no supervision
Ability to follow direction and work effectively under pressure
Good planning, organization, problem-solving, decision-making and liaison skills
Ability to collaborate with others and facilitate planning and action
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work within the policies, standards, procedures and the vision, mission, and core values of Saint Louis University School of Medicine
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or G.E.D Required
Must have a valid established A or B CDL driver's license with a clean driving record and will be required to maintain a clean driving record and valid driver’s license throughout employment period.

Must be able to pass a Criminal Records Search and drug screen
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position will be required to work outdoors at times to prepare the mobile clinic for trips into the community
