Overview


Mastercard Data & Services encompasses Mastercard's offerings beyond the transaction, providing customers across industries and geographies with a tailored portfolio of solutions to address their business pain points.


Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these solutions include payments-focused consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business experimentation through Test & Learn®, and data-driven information and risk management services. With compelling offerings for financial institutions, retailers, telecommunications organizations, travel companies and more, our solutions enable end-to-end problem solving and add value to our customers.


The Data & Services Marketing team is focused on driving revenue growth through customer acquisition and retention by creating B2B thought leadership content, as well as building and executing global and regional multi-channel campaigns. This includes creation of in-depth white papers and reports as well as blog posts, planning and execution of global and regional B2B events, digital campaign design and execution, local campaign implementation and optimization, creation of sales materials (such as product narratives, case studies), and leads management.


This role is specifically focused on growing and enabling our partner ecosystem globally by: establishing to- and through-partner marketing strategies; creating and curating relevant content; and, deploying campaigns in-market to drive Data & Services growth. This role will support efforts to attract new partners to grow the partner ecosystem as well as enable partners to grow the Data & Services pipeline.


Directors on the D&S Marketing team are focused on demonstrating the value proposition of Mastercard Data & Services and establishing credibility among prospective partners in priority industries and regions. Directors will also advise junior team members and become experts in the capabilities and value of Mastercard Data & Services solutions for channel partners working with banks, retailers, hotels, airlines, telcos and other segments. As a Director, you will serve as a strategic thought partner to business leaders within the organization to identify the marketing and sales strategies that will most effectively grow revenue within each business unit including Cyber, Platforms, Data Insight Solutions, Loyalty Solutions and other offerings.


Role


  • Establishes global channel marketing strategy and executes in-market campaigns including thought leadership and sales materials development, digital advertising campaigns, in-person and virtual events/ webinars and channel partner marketing support
  • Manages junior team members in task assignment and execution, prioritization, deliverable quality and career development
  • Develops partnership with key stakeholders to support planning and generation of leads and business wins for Mastercard channel partners team
  • Guides development of presentations and materials to support sales conversations
  • Measures past campaign performance and success, including developing desired specifications for campaign performance measurement and evaluation
  • Manages B2B Marketing budget for channels-related campaigns and projects to ensure that all campaigns, programs, and activities are within allocated budget and driving positive ROI
  • Manages relationships with third parties (e.g., partners, event venues, agencies, etc.) and provides any necessary clarifications

All About You


  • 7+ years of experience in B2B Services Channel marketing role in related industry
  • Experience leading teams across function and geography
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and hard-working professional with desire to own projects from start to finish
  • Inquisitive, with an aptitude for analytical and quantitative problem solving
  • Ability to solve business case questions and demonstrate business aptitude
  • Interest in both B2B sales and marketing; understanding of B2B marketing and business development strategies
  • Strong drive and interest in increasing responsibility, leadership, and professional growth
  • Excited to contribute to a growing, fast moving, and highly collaborative team with a ‘make-it-happen’ attitude
  • Full professional proficiency in English is required
  • Bachelor’s degree from leading university
  • Experience with Pardot and Salesforce.com are a plus

Arlington, Virginia: $151,000 - $233,000 USD
