All About You
Job Summary
Under general direction, develop, market and coordinate all internship, co-op, mentoring, capstone design and other professional development programs for students in the School of Science and Engineering. Oversee application procedures, review process, and dissemination of School of Science and Engineering scholarships and coordinate student events. Provide administrative support to the Deans' office.
Job Duties
- Provides leadership in the development, implementation, and maintenance of internship, co-op, mentoring, pipeline, capstone design, and other professional development programs for School of Science and Engineering students.
- Work alongside faculty and academic advisors to promote internship and career experiences with industry partners.
- Support student professional development activities in conjunction with academic advisors and career counselors.
- Advertise, organize, and support processes to award School of Science and Engineering scholarships annually.
- Facilitate application process, review committee, and award notifications with scholarship recipients and Student Financial Services.
- Assists in the development of strong industry partnerships to support ongoing opportunities for students.
- Coordinates and assists other staff with various events and activities throughout the year (Engineering Career Day, Senior Design Symposium, Commencement).
- Coordinates Associate Deans’ schedules; arranges internal and external meetings; maintains central calendar and organizes appointments.
- Coordinates visitor events, conferences, and special event arrangements;
- Disseminates information; prepares travel arrangements, screens phone calls; contributes to the development of special projects.
- Serves on various committees; performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, higher education leadership, or similar field supplemented with two years of related work experience.
