Position Purpose


Assist in maintaining Centene Corporation’s Compliance Program; provide regulatory guidance and support to functional area leads; review and submit regulatory reports; and assist with resolving issues with submissions.


In this Compliance Analyst role, you will


  • Collect, review, and submit regulatory reports and contractual deliverables to the state Medicaid agency’s portal.
  • Download electronic documents from the state’s portal and distribute them to functional area leads.
  • Respond to requests from the state Medicaid agency for additional information required for regulatory submissions.
  • Assist functional area leads with resolving issues with submissions that have been returned requesting modification.
  • Maintain accuracy of data fields (e.g., submission events, due dates, and approvals) populated in the corporate tracking system and the market’s source-of-truth trackers.
  • Distribute electronic documents containing updated state guidance and requirements to market and enterprise associates.
  • Maintain and sort regulatory documentation necessary to maintain corporate standards.
  • Assist associates with managing relationships with the state Medicaid agency.


Important Notes


  • This role is remote. However, due to needs of the business ideal work hours will be EST time zone, and preferred (yet, not required) candidate location is the Raleigh/Durham, NC area.
  • Travel required One week per year in the market corporate office in Raleigh, North Carolina.


Education/Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. Master's or Juris Doctorate degree preferred and may be considered in lieu of experience.
  • 1+ years of related experience in compliance, privacy and/or regulatory affairs.
  • Working knowledge of laws and/or regulations in area of compliance; in particular HIPAA, and state regulations.
