All About You
Under general direction, supports and performs feasibility, analytical, and cost/benefit studies regarding administrative information systems; insures system integrity, compatibility, and standardization; coordinates and maintains administrative database security. Serves as liasion with Information Technology group. Writes and maintains reports, data bridges, and quality reviews.
Performs feasibility studies, designs systems solutions, and develops/recommends required actions; participates in implementing solutions and assists other programmer/analysts on specific projects; monitors programming changes to ensure standardization and compatibility across administrative systems. Serves as liasion with Information Technology group. Writes and maintains reports, data bridges, and quality reviews.
Maintains and incorporates standards and controls regarding administrative databases and support software; coordinates application software changes by requiring properly approved, planned, and documented changes; assists in maintaining project deadlines and requirements as needed.
Researches and investigates technology changes and other events which impact administrative systems.
Implements approved database/screen access requests to administrative information systems; coordinates and maintains administrative database security.
Manage system issues impacted by and impacting operation units, and non-academic support units
Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
Knowledge of management information systems, data structures, systems analysis and design, programming languages

Bachelors degree in math or computer science, or related field; supplemented with two (2) years related work experience. Profieient with sql, Altreyx, and Banner preferred.
Remote/In-person Expectations
This position will require the individual to work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work some remotely upon completion of the first 90 days of initial onsite training and familiarizing with department work and operations in compliance with the requirements of the SLU Remote Staff Flexible Work Policy.
