Analyst, Finance Business Partner


Overview


  • Responsible for budgeting and forecasting short/long-term plans, as well as preparing and analyzing internal and external financial reports
  • Activities include managing risks and opportunities, monitoring the organization's revenue and expenses while considering macro-economic factors


Role


  • Supports our Product and Engineering group, specifically the Consumer Solutions programs, with financial and budget related needs under limited supervision; performs basic financial analysis
  • Assists with preparing and/or updating designated financial reports
  • Assists with building and maintaining basic tools and reports (e.g.. MIS, CEO deck); may serve as a resource for financial technology (e.g. Hyperion)
  • Supports the annual target and budget process by analyzing performance, producing management reporting, consolidating information and tracking changes
  • Supports month-end financial close responsibilities for Engineering programs


All About You


  • Begins to develop relationships and business partnerships within MasterCard to understand the needs and objectives of stakeholders
  • Improved financial and operational analysis and modeling, supports moderate projects within the department
  • Experience researching vendor invoices, highlighting issues and identifying trends
  • Experience with financial systems and applications a plus (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle)
  • Advanced Excel or Analytics tool skills preferred
