Midwest BankCentre is seeking an experienced In-house Creative and Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day creative needs of the bank, as well as manage the operationalization of much of the creative collateral. The individual would support two brands: Midwest BankCentre and Rising Bank, with the majority of the work being for the Midwest BankCentre brand.  Our goal is to differentiate Midwest BankCentre and Rising Bank through our values-based approach. We lead with story, humanizing the brands and creating connections that drive action. The candidate will help bring our differentiators to life across multiple channels.

 

The objective of this position is to foster the Midwest BankCentre and Rising Bank brands through consistent and compelling creative campaigns, while generating the day-to-day assets for print and digital channels.  The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all creative initiatives, including digital (advertisements, landing pages, etc) , social, and print (newspaper ads, direct mail, etc.), as well as developing sales collateral such as fliers, one-sheeters, RFPs, direct mail, and brochures. Additionally, this person will be responsible for coordinating updates of creative when necessary and ensuring effective and efficient production of sales collateral.  The individual will work closely with an established creative agency on larger creative concepts / campaigns 2 – 3 times per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the creative direction for all advertising initiatives, including digital, social, and print.
  • Develop and produce sales collateral, including fliers, direct mail, RFPs, and brochures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure the accuracy of sales collateral.
  • Work with vendors to ensure effective and efficient production of sales collateral
  • Coordinate updates of creative with newspaper partners, updates to LEDs and other channels, as necessary.
  • Manage multiple projects and prioritize workload to ensure timely delivery of all initiatives.   The team currently uses Asana for project management.
  • Ensure all creative outputs meet the brand standards and guidelines of Midwest BankCentre and/or Rising Bank.
  • Develop and implement operational processes to ensure effective and efficient production of all creative collateral.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operationalization of all creative collateral
  • Photography skills to take photos to be utilized within creative would be a plus.
  • Video editing skills would be a plus, particularly for social.

  • Project Management and Operations: The candidate should have strong project management, organizational skills, and a production-oriented mindset to execute marketing initiatives effectively and efficiently. They should also have experience operationalizing creative collateral, such as sales collateral, direct mail, and coordination of updates of creative with newspapers, updates to LEDs. •
  • Leadership: The candidate should have a leaders mindset.  While this role is an individual contributor, we believe that everyone at the Bank is a leader and should have a sense of ownership and pride in their work.  They are self-motivated and seek out opportunities for growth and development, set a positive tone and lead by example.
  • Independence: The candidate should be comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects and initiatives, while also collaborating with other teams as needed.
  • Adaptability: The candidate should be able to wear multiple hats and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Communication: The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of projects.
  • Results-oriented: The candidate should be focused on achieving results and driving business outcomes through effective marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Purpose-Driven: The candidate should be purpose-driven and care about improving the communities that we serve and ensuring that all creative work aligns with the bank's values and mission.

Physical Requirements

  • Physical mobility and dexterity to create and transport files and operate general office equipment (telephone, copier).
  • Ability to effectively read, write and speak the English language.
  • Visual acuity sufficient to review and proof information.
  • Auditory ability to use a telephone.


Education and Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of relevant experience.
