What Will Your Job Look Like?

The Quality Assurance Processor is responsible for providing MTA Mobility stakeholders with actionable analysis on data collection and assessment of Service Delivery practices.  This position will conduct audits that ensure compliance with MTA Mobility protocols.

  • Conduct data sampling, data analysis, report preparation, and reviewing information from MOCC and Service Delivery Contractors
  • Perform complex quantitative and qualitative data review, precision analysis, and investigation and reporting
  • Review data reconciliation and billing data for all service delivery providers
  • Monitor MTA Mobility performance measures
  • Preparation and distribution of real-time, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Compile service statistics for federal, state, local and MTA stakeholders
  • Analyze data collected from Mobility Contractors related to service interruptions
  • Collect, categorize, quantify and analyze data collected from Mobility Contractors related to severe weather operations and its impact on delivery of Mobility service
  • Analyze reports of data duplicates or other errors to provide ongoing appropriate inter-departmental communication and monthly or daily data reports
  • Monitor for timely and accurate completion of select data elements
  • Monitor reporting systems for issues with data and report executions
  • Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Acquire and extract primary or secondary data from existing internal or external data sources
  • Perform data entry, either manually or using scanning technology, when needed or required
  • Maintain client systems and databases used to track data and run reports
  • Perform basic statistical analyses for projects and reports
  • Generate routine and ad hoc reports

All you need is...

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on quantitative analytics or experience in a related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in quantitative analytics such as: performance measurement, user segmentation, test design, modeling and web analytics
  • Experience with MS SQL Server or other relational database systems
  • A working knowledge of Trapeze PASS paratransit software suite or event-based paratransit application is required and a detailed understanding of Trapeze is a plus.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency or above in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
  • Understanding of XML and SQL queries to extract data from Oracle databases
  • Knowledge of statistics, at least to the degree necessary in order to communicate easily with Statisticians

  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
