The Michael Scott Paper Company, a dynamic and innovative paper supply startup, is seeking a motivated, creative, and strategic Marketing Associate to join our team. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, the successful candidate will support the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that increase brand visibility, customer engagement, and market share.
Responsibilities
- Support the VP of Marketing in the development and execution of marketing plans and strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and understand customer needs.
- Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and website updates.
- Create engaging digital content (e.g. website, blogs, press releases) and analyze its impact.
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gaining insights and assessing against goals.
- Work closely with the sales team to align marketing strategies with sales efforts.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales forecasting reports.
- Maintain a consistent brand image in all company communications and marketing materials.
Qualifications
Education
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role.
- Experience with digital marketing tools and techniques.
- Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns.
- Strong copywriting skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas.
- Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of content management systems, HTML, CSS, and social media platforms.

About the Internship Program
Dunder Mifflin’s Internship Institute provides a unique and comprehensive learning experience focused on Commercial Paper and Paper Management by engaging participants in a robust two-year training track through our most successful business lines.
The innovative curriculum and experiences provide candidates foundational skills and specialized insight into Management at Dunder Mifflin while immersing participants into our customer-focused culture.
Upon program completion, participants will be eligible for positions such as a Marketing Associate or Logistics Coordinator, leading to future opportunities as Assistant to the District Manager.
Program Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or other business-related graduate
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred
- Participation in community or school-based organizations or equivalent work experience
- Flexibility to travel within Dunder Mifflin's markets including but not limited to: Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Missouri, and Illinois.
