We are looking to hire a Project Director for our Financial Facilities group at the Corporate Headquarters in St. Louis, MO. Provides coordination, direction, control, and leadership on projects as the "single point of contact" for the owner, design department, and the project staff. Ensure quality and timely execution of design/build projects from pre-design to completion. The Project Director will manage projects as well as work with sales and marketing, pre-construction services, business unit leader and Design Team. Work on preparation of Letters of Intent and contract documents with the Owner. Handle all owner coordination.

Primary Responsibilities
- Work with Sales in helping close the sale, including developing and presenting the Company and the Design/Build services to potential Clients
- Take charge in closing the deal
- Work with Senior management to develop, prepare and present Team agreement with clients
- Oversee the development of the project:
- Working with company planner on demographic study
- Assist the client (or their Real Estate Agent) in locating/reviewing building sites or reviewing existing facilities
- Research local zoning, building information and Utilities
- Work with Surveyor/Civil Engineering on proposed sites
- Work with design Team
- Establish Design Budget Estimates and cost control, develop preliminary cost estimates, schedules and preparing scope and agreement letters
- Review ongoing Plans and scope for Quality, cost control and offers Value Engineering ideas
- Have a good working knowledge of MEP Systems and Civil Engineering work
- Prepare and review Owner Contracts
- Work with Project manager and superintendent during project construction and close out
- Maintain a working relationship with past and current clients, follow up on Satisfaction
- Monitor project costs and Job Cost Report

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 15+ years' in the construction, engineering, civil and energy sectors, or related industries performing the similar primary responsibilities listed.
- Strong leadership and management skills in directing an organization, department, or group.
- Advanced with Microsoft Office Suite
- Complete knowledge of construction principles/practices required
- This person should be detail oriented with in-depth knowledge of Construction Plans and systems, able to develop and understanding all types of Construction Contracts
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
- Successfully managed multiple projects simultaneously (design/build preferred).
