SUMMARY

The HR Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for team members and leaders across the organization. The HR Coordinator will report to the Manager of HR Operations and will support the Manager, HR Generalists, and ECP leaders and team members in the day-to-day support of business operations regarding HR inquiries and tasks. This role will collaborate with various departments and functions within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and exhibit an extremely high level of attention to detail and strict confidentiality. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support basic day-to-day HR inquiries from HR leadership team, HR Business Partners, HR Operations Manager, HR Generalists, and ECP leaders and team members within the organization in relation to company policy, team relations, benefits, leave of absence, payroll, and other relevant teams. 
  • Coordinate and support team member lifecycle activities, including onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transition for all team members. 
  • Perform data entry and general HR administrative tasks (timesheet adjustments and other HRIS related entries). 
  • Audit and maintain team member and contractor records in our systems to ensure completeness, consistency, and compliance with company standards and legal requirements. 
  • Assist with file clean-up and standardization, both digital and physical, to improve HR data integrity and accessibility. 
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure consistency and accuracy in team member records. 
  • Participate in team meetings and gain exposure to broader HR areas, including team member experience, recruiting, benefits and compensation, and organizational learning & development. 
  • Provide support for the post-close integration process and assist with the implementation of the EyeCare Partners HRIS platform. 
  • Reset system passwords and electronically file documents within employee personnel files. 
  • Ensure confidentiality when handling sensitive team member information with discretion and professionalism. 
  • Assist with compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. 
  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities while supporting a culture of high quality and great customer service. 
  • Performs other duties that may be necessary or in the best interest of the organization.

  • Management and organizational skills to support the leadership of this function. 
  • Ability to follow or provide verbal & written instructions with sufficient grammar and spelling skills to avoid mistakes or misinterpretations. 
  • Interpersonal skills to support customer service, functional, and teammate support need. 
    • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. 
  • Ability for basic problem solving, including mathematics. 
  • Intermediate computer operation.  
  • Travel to other site locations may be necessary.  Thus, those needing to travel for work must have access to dependable transportation, and driving record must meet company liability carrier standards. 
  • Specialty knowledge of systems relating to job function. 
    • Advanced Excel and data analytics experience is a plus. 
    • Ceridian Dayforce experience a plus. 
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations for this position preferred; general understanding of HIPAA guidelines a plus. 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field strongly preferred. 
  • Minimum Required: 1+ years of experience in HR operations, Talent Acquisition support or related administrative field. 
  • Experience working with an HRIS database strongly preferred 
  • Experience in healthcare setting preferred.

  • Minimum Required: None

SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

LOCATION

  • This position is located in St Louis, Missouri and offers a hybrid work schedule.
