SUMMARY
The Financial Reporting Systems Administrator maintains ECP’s financial reporting systems and is responsible for the configuration, development, and enhancements of such. The administrator also collaborates with department leaders to identify opportunities for improved or enhanced reporting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures integrity of ECP’s financial data within our reporting system (Adaptive Planning)
- Works with Manager, FP&A, Corp Finance team and Operations Finance teams to deliver robust reporting solutions.
- Manages system access in accordance with internal control policy.
- Successfully communicates system changes or issues with a broad user audience in a clear manner and on a timely basis.
- Provides system training to users as necessary and helps troubleshoot.
- Prepares statistical information and other reports for management.
- Attends meetings with management and department staff to review and discuss financial matters, maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Oversee and prepare various reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.
- Systems configuration experience in financial planning systems such as Adaptive Planning (preferred), Hyperion or others. SAP experience a plus.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Experience within a corporate finance environment, with specific exposure to monthly close, forecast and budget cycles.
- Strong Excel and data management skills
- Experience and evidence of strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Critical thinking skills and a high level of attention to detail
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Required: B.S. or B.A. in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Minimum Required: 4+ years of related experience
LICENSES AND CREDENTIALS
- Minimum Required: None
SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Adaptive Planning, Office Connect, or similar experience required.
